Psychiatry

The Department of Psychiatry mainly deals with neurological disorders caused by neurological stress that are associated with a wide range of symptoms such as insomnia, agitation, tension, anxiety, and depression. The department also deals with adjustment disorders, which make it difficult for the affected individual to adapt to family life or society, interpersonal and personality issues, geriatric mental disorders, and problems affecting children during development. Major mental disorders, such as bipolar disorder, depression, and schizophrenia, are treated at the Department of Psychiatry based on psychoanalysis and/or therapy.
