의료정보학 연구팀은 대전 건양대학교 의과대학 의학과 정보의학교실 소속으로 의학과 김종엽 교수와 이수현 교수 연구실의 조교, 대학원생 및 학부생들이 서로 협력적으로 연구하고 있습니다. 본 연구팀은 의과대학에서 필요한 기본적인 의료정보 교육과 정보학과의 융합을 통한 연구 활동을 하고 있습니다. 의료정보학은 정보통신기술을 보건의료, 의학에 활용하는 방법을 연구하는 다학제 융합 학문이며, 크게 보건의료정보학과 생명의료정보학으로 나뉘어져 있습니다. 4차 산업에 대처하기 위해 본 교실은 임상의학과 기초의학의 수요에 부응할 수 있는 인력과 빅데이터 분석 시스템을 갖추기 위해 노력하고 있으며, 의학에 필요한 의료정보, 보건의료통계, 프로그래밍 등 다양한 교육에도 기여하고 있습니다. 현재 본 교실에서는 보건의료 빅데이터를 이용한 데이터 사이언스 분야의 다양한 기초, 실용, 상용화 연구를 진행하고 있습니다. 특히, 공단 및 심평원 자료를 활용한 질병 상관 관계 분석과 다기관 임상정보 통합 및 분석 플랫폼 개발 등 의료정보 관련 다양한 연구를 확장 중입니다.

The Laboratory of Biomedical Informatics is a research lab for health informatics, medical informatics. The lab is a collaborative effort between professor Jong-Yeup Kim, professor Suehyun Lee, graduate students and undergraduate students in the Department of Medical informatics, Konyang University College of Medicine at Daejeon. This research team is conducting research activities through the convergence of basic medical information education and information department required in medical schools. Medical informatics is a multidisciplinary fusion study that studies how to use information and communication technology in health care and medicine, and is largely divided into health care informatics and biomedical informatics. In order to cope with the 4th industry, this classroom strives to equip personnel and big data analysis systems that can meet the demands of clinical medicine and basic medicine, and contributes to various education such as medical information necessary for medicine, health statistics, programming, etc. Currently, our research team is conducting various basic, practical, and commercialization studies in the field of data science using big data in health care. In particular, various research related to medical information is being expanded, such as disease correlation analysis using data from NHIS and Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service of multi-center clinical information integration and analysis platform.
